We Strive to Make a CHANGE
Founded in 2021 by Andy Lin, Oakville Youth Group is a student-led group created with the aim of helping nonprofit organizations and making a positive impact in humanitarian issues. This year we partnered with the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton to host a multitude of fundraisers such as book fairs and piano recitals. In the end we successfully raised over $4500 that will go towards helping children in need.
Holiday Card Sale
We’re celebrating Oakville and helping our community by selling cards. The money we get goes to the Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton (CAFH). Last year, we gave them over $3200. This year, we’ve already got $1500 from a debate event. We want to give even more this year. CAFH uses this money to help young people in our community who need it. Join us and help make a difference!
